2018
Our Humble Beginnings
Our first project involved creating a website to map monuments dedicated to the People’s Liberation War (1941-45) onto an interactive, clickable map. The platform allows administrators to add detailed information for each monument by region, including images and PDF reports, providing an easy-to-navigate, comprehensive resource for users to explore these historical sites.
2019-2022
Mitral is Born
Following the success of our first project, our developers went on to complete software engineering degrees with first-class honours. Armed with advanced expertise, they began specialising in the creation of bespoke web applications, delivering tailored solutions that address the unique needs of each client while ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.
2023
Transition to Web Applications
The next step in our journey was developing a web application to transform an Excel-based import tool into a comprehensive, full-scale system. Building on the original concept, we created a robust platform that enables seamless asset management for a University. The application includes a secure login system, user management capabilities, and a structured three-part workflow—covering asset creation, updates, and reviews—designed to streamline processes and enhance efficiency across the institution.

Bespoke Reporting Solutions
The next step for our business was developing bespoke reporting systems for institutions, including those in healthcare, to streamline data analysis and reporting. These systems enable users to create customised reports based on patient data and export them to PDF for seamless sharing. Leveraging APIs to integrate and retrieve data, the platforms also incorporate robust user and role-based management, ensuring secure access and tailored functionalities for different user levels.

A website to present the current status and condition of all monuments and memorials to the People’s Liberation War (1941-45)
This website was created with the intention of making the ongoing research of Andrew Lawler available to the public. Since 2013, Andrew has been compiling lists of monuments and memorials commemorating the People’s Liberation War and Revolution throughout Bosnia & Herzegovina, with the aim of creating reports on the monument stock for individual municipalities, with the first such report having been completed in May 2018 (Sapna municipality). Since then, a number of reports have been created by Andrew and other authors. The intention is to eventually create reports for all municipalities in Bosnia & Herzegovina and to combine with similar efforts in Yugoslavia’s successor states.
Development on the website began in late 2019, with the idea of allowing information to be more easily searched and shared, to enable other authors to create reports, and to allow individuals to contribute additional information. To date, dozens of volunteers have assisted in the mapping and photography of sites, and their biographies are available to view in the Credits section of this website.
